My house smells so gooooood. . . . .

Every Thanksgiving I try to do something for the kid's teachers. I made pumpkin bread a few years ago and thought I would try that again this year. I asked John for a list of people at school that he would like me to make extra loaves for. Before it was done I needed 15 loaves of bread. I can bake 4 at a time so I ended up with 16 mini loaves. Mmmmm the house smelled so good. I started about 8am on Tuesday morning and finished decorating the loaves about 6pm. It was a long day, but totally worth it. John told me I was working way too hard when he saw me stringing the beads on the raffia, but I think he enjoyed passing them out. Being thankful and being gracious is so important to me. I hope I let the people around me know how much I appreciate them and what they do for us. The Obermeiers have a lot to be thankful for this year.
